NTPC completes trial operation of Unit-1 in Telangana

NTPC Limited has completed the trial operation of Unit 1 of the 2×800 MW super thermal power project (STPP) in Telangana. Unit 1, as part of the Stage I development of the STPP, has an 800 MW of capacity. In a separate development, a 660 MW unit of NTPC’s Barh STPP has been inaugurated in Barh, Bihar. The 660 MW unit is Unit 2 of Stage I of the project.
