42 per cent work completed on corridor 2 under Patna Metro Phase I

Approximately 42 per cent work of Corridor 2 has been completed under the Patna Metro Rail Project – Phase I. Additionally, Rajendra Nagar Sta­tion under Corridor 2 is expected to serve as an interchange station with Rajendra Nagar Terminal Station. Phase I of the project involves the development of a 31.39 km long metro rail network in Patna, Bihar, at an estimated cost of Rs 133.65 billion. It involves the development of two corridors: Corridor 1 (Danapur Cantt-Mithapur) and Corridor 2 (Patna Junction-Patna inter-state bus terminal).
