Trial run on Bund Garden-Ramwadi stretch of Pune metro to commence by end-September

Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (Maha-Metro) is likely to commence trial run on Bund Garden-Ramwadi stretch of Pune Metro Rail Project – Phase I by end-September 2023. Besides, the civil works of the viaduct and signaling have reached their final stage on this section, making it ready for testing. Moreover, 75 per cent of station work has been completed. The project involves development of a 31.25 km long metro rail network in Pune in the state of Maharashtra with an investment of Rs 114.2 billion. It comprises of two corridors; Pimpri-Chinchwad (Nigdi)-Swargate via Agriculture college (16.59 km, Corridor 1) and Vanaz-Ramwadi via Deccan gymkhana, Yerawada (14.67 km, Corridor 2).
