SJVN wins 320 MW solar projects in Assam

SJVN Green Energy Limited (SGEL), a subsidiary of SJVN Limited, has bagged an order to set up three solar power plants with cumulative capacity of 320 MW. The projects have been awarded by Assam Power Distribution Corporation Limited (APDCL) and will be set up on the basis of build, own, operate model. Two projects of capacities 50 MW and 70 MW will be implemented in Dhekiajuli and Dhubri, respectively under the solar park category and have been won at a tariff of Rs 3.92 per kWh. While another project of capacity 200 MW can be implemented anywhere in Assam at a tariff of Rs 3.90 per kWh. The projects have an estimated cost of Rs 19 billion.
