Shell India is planning to set up liquefied natural gas (LNG) regasification terminal in Gujarat. It will entail an investment of around Rs 5 billion for in the LNG regasification terminal, asset integrity rejuvenation, and debottlenecking project. Besides, it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the government for the same. It is likely to commence commercial operations by 2027.
