Rajasthan government is set to invest over Rs 52 billion in bolstering its road network during 2023-24.
A budget of around Rs 4.62 billion has been sanctioned for 323 road initiatives, encompassing both urban and rural development and repairs. Diverse districts including Barmer, Alwar, Jaipur, and Ajmer are earmarked for these projects.
Notably, the inauguration of roads and bridges totalling 383 km, worth Rs 3.87 billion, and the groundbreaking for 3,910 km of roads, valued at Rs 44.30 billion have taken place.
