State cabinet approves implementation of Bhagwan Birsa Munda Jodaraste Scheme in Maharashtra

The Maharashtra cabinet approved implementation of the Bhagwan Birsa Munda Jodaraste Scheme on August 18, 2023.
The project involves construction of 6,838 km long roads connecting tribal villages to main roads at an estimated cost of Rs 50 billion under the scheme.
The Public Works Department, Maharashtra (PWD) is likely to implement the project.
