Adani Energy Solutions Limited (AESL) has acquired an under-development transmission project from Megha Engineering and Infrastructures Limited (MEIL) for an undisclosed amount.
It has bought 100 per cent equity shares of the special purpose vehicle, at face value of Rs 10 each. KPS1 project includes implementation of KPS1-Khavda PS GIS (KPS2) 765 kV double circuit line and augmentation of Khavda PS1. This acquisition is proposed to further AESL’s strategy for enhancing value for its shareholders through organic as well as inorganic opportunities.
