New integrated cargo terminal inaugurated at Pune Airport

A new integrated cargo terminal was inaugurated at the Pune Airport, Maharashtra on August 6, 2023. It has an annual capacity to handle 37,000 metric tonnes (mt) of domestic cargo and 7,000 mt of international cargo. It spans over an area of 1.76 acres, accommodating goods ranging from perishables to auto equipment and medicines. It aims to promote economic growth, enhance efficiency, and enhance the import and export capabilities of the city.
