Patna Metro to have two interchange stations

Patna Metro Rail Project – Phase I is likely to have two interchange stations for the two corridors, viz. Corridor 1 (Danapur Cantt-Mithapur) and Corridor 2 (Patna Junction-Patna Inter State Bus Terminal (ISBT)). These stations are : Khemni Chak which will be an elevated interchange station and Patna Junction which will be an underground interchange station. Phase I of the project involves the development of a 31.39 km long metro rail network in Patna state of Bihar at an estimated cost of Rs 133.65 billion. It involves the development of two corridors, viz. Corridor 1 (Danapur Cantt-Mithapur) and Corridor 2 (Patna Junction-Patna ISBT).
