Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T) has emerged as the L1 bidder for implementation of the Orange Gate-Marine Drive Underground Road Tunnel Project.The company has quoted an amount of Rs 77.65 billion. Besides, the JV of J Kumar Infraprojects Limited and NCC Limited has emerged as L2 bidder by quoting an amount of Rs 85.89 billion. The completion period for the work is 48 months.
The project involves construction of 4.46 km underground road tunnel connectivity including approaches on design build basis between Orange Gate, Eastern Free Way to Marine Drive coastal road in Maharashtra.
