TBM S89 achieves final breakthrough at Begumpul Station of Delhi-Meerut RRTS

Tunnel boring machine (TBM) S89 has achieved final breakthrough at Begumpul Station of Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) Project. This was the final breakthrough for Afcons Infrastructure Limited under Package 8. The Government of Delhi is planning to allocate funds worth Rs 4.15 billion by September 2023 for the project. The project involves development of 82.15 km RRTS connecting Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut corridor in the states of Delhi and Uttar Pradesh with an investment of Rs 302.74 billion.
