Powergrid Bikaner Transmission System Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, has commissioned a transmission project – Transmission system strengthening scheme for evacuation of power from solar energy zones in Rajasthan (8.1 GW) under Phase-II Part-F. Secured through tariff based competitive bidding, the project was undertaken on a build, own, operate, and maintain basis.
