The NHAI will auction a 300 km stretch of roads under the toll-operate-transfer (TOT) model. The roads included are Kota Bypass (NH-76) and Gwalior-Jhansi (NH-75) spanning 28 km and 81 km, respectively, under TOT-13. Additionally, Delhi-Meerut Expressway (NH-334 DME) (60 km), Delhi-Hapur section (NH-24 and part of DME) (51 km), and Binjabahal-Teleibani road (NH6) (79 km) are part of the auction.
These roads generate significant annual collections, ranging from Rs 0.48 billion for Kota Bypass to Rs 2.58 billion for the Delhi-Hapur section. NHAI aims to raise Rs 439.79 billion from asset monetisation during 2023-24. Bidding is expected to take place by September 2023.
