Vinci Highways plans to acquire Vindhyachal Expressway (VEPL)

Vinci Highways is planning to acquire Vindhyachal Expressway (VEPL) sponsored by JMC Projects, a subsidiary of Kalpataru Power Transmission. Besides, Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP) is also in talks to acquire VEPL.
Vindhyachal Expressway (VEPL) is a 90 km long four-laning section between Rewa in Madhya Pradesh and Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh on NH-7.
VEPL is likely to notch Rs 20 billion in enterprise value.
