In a notable development, Megha City Gas Distribution Private Limited has commissioned its compressed natural gas (CNG) station at Dindigul in Tamil Nadu. In the eleventh city gas distribution (CGD) bidding round by Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB), Megha Gas has bagged licences for 15 geographic areas across the country. It has won geographical areas in nine states, i.e., Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu.
