NLDC prepares draft procedure for carrying out inter-connection studies of new power system elements

National Load Despatch Centre (NLDC), in consultation with regional load despatch centres (LDC), has prepared a detailed draft procedure for carrying out inter-connection studies of new power system elements. The procedure lays down the guidelines for data submission and performing the interconnection studies for new power system elements to be integrated into the Indian grid. The procedure shall apply to all users, state LDCs, regional LDCs, NLDC, central transmission utility, state transmission utilities, licensees, and settlement nodal agencies. NLDC has sought suggestions on the draft procedure by August 7, 2023.
