Various international flight operations have started at the new integrated terminal building (NITB T2) of the Chennai International Airport. T2 is spread over an area of 1,36,295 square metres (sq m). Currently, a total 13 airlines are offering their services for international operations from T2. Singapore airlines and Gulf airlines have started their flight operations from the airport on July 4, 2023 and Emirates started its flight operations on July 3, 2023, among others. Several new flights are also expected to start their international services in the coming months.
