NHAI has released funds worth Rs 5,370 million for the Ballabhgarh-Jewar Link Road Project. Funds worth Rs 3,580 million and Rs 1,790 million were released in two instalments. In May 2023, preliminary construction work commenced on the project. The project is being implemented in three parts. First, a 31 km long spur will be built between Karauli Bangar (a village next to Yamuna Expressway in Jewar) and Chandawali (a village in Ballabhgarh in Faridabad) connecting the airport to Delhi-Mumbai Expressway.
Second, an interchange will be built to connect carriageways of the two expressways. Third, an elevated road of length 750 m will be built to link Yamuna Expressway to the airport terminal building.
