The track work has commenced at Randesan Station for the Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project Phase-II. The project involves development of metro rail connecting Gandhinagar to Motera in the state of Gujarat. It will be implemented in two corridors. Corridor 1 would connect Motera stadium to Mahatma Mandir and Corridor 2 would connect Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) to Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT) City.
