Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) has awarded Hyderabad-based Jayram Industries India Private Limited (JIIPL) a 19-month contract to operate and maintain (O&M) a 65 MW solar power project in Neyveli, Tamil Nadu. BHEL issued a tender for the project, which is owned by NLC India in May 2023.According to the tender, JIIPL is responsible for erecting and commissioning all equipment and auxiliaries in accordance with the sequence and methodology provided by BHEL, depending on the technical requirements.
