CMRS grants perission for commencing commercial operation on Navi Mumbai Metro Phase I

Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS) has granted permission for the commencement of commercial operations for Navi Mumbai Metro Rail Project (Corridor I- Phase I). The project involves development of the metro rail network in Navi Mumbai in the state of Maharashtra. It is being developed in three phases. The Phase I of the project involves development of an 11.1 km long metro rail network traversing from Belapur to Pendhar covering 11 stations with an investment of Rs 30.63 billion.
