Ace Energy Infrastructure Private Limited has completed installation of 3.6 km, 24” pipeline across Subansiri River in Assam by horizontal directional drilling (HDD) technique under the North-East natural gas pipeline grid project, locating it among the largest pipeline installations worldwide using HDD technique. The North-East natural gas pipeline grid involves development, operation and maintenance of a natural gas pipeline connecting eight states viz. Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura at an investment of Rs 100 billion. It is being implemented by Indradhanush Gas Grid Limited, a joint venture company of Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), ONGC, GAIL (India) Limited, Oil India Limited and Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL).
