MRO centre to be established at Chennai Internatioal Airport

Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) centre will be established at the Chennai International Airport by December 2023. After the establishment of the MRO facility at the airport, the flights facing technical issues will not have to face long delays since these issues can be rectified within a few hours. This would reduce the downtime and lower cancellation of the flights ultimately increasing the efficiency of the flights which will benefit both the passengers and the airlines.
