Cabinet approves HUDA City Centre-Cyber City Metro Rail Project

In a notable development, the Union Cabinet has approved the HUDA City Centre-Cyber City metro rail project in Gurugram with a spur to Dwarka Ex­pressway at an estimated cost of Rs 54.52 billion. It is likely to be completed by 2027. The project involves development of a 28.5 km-long metro route in Gurugram, with a total of 27 elevated metro stations. The Haryana government has proposed to construct a metro link from Palam Vihar to Dwarka Sector 21 to facilitate connectivity between the upcoming Gurugram metro and the Blue Line of the Delhi metro.
