A concessionaire agreement was signed for the development of a multi-modal cargo hub facility at the Jewar International Airport in Noida on May 31, 2022. The agreement was signed between Air India SATS Airport Services Private Limited and Yamuna International Airport Private Limited. The cargo hub will be developed, designed, financed and operated by Air India SATS Airport Services Private Limited on an area of around 87 acres. It will be strategically developed so that various modes of transportation can connect to it, and will also provide just-in-time cargo facilities for the north India.
