In a recent development, the technical survey work on the upcoming Gurdaspur- Jammu Natural Gas Pipeline Project has been completed. The project involves laying, building, operating or expanding a 175 km long natural gas pipeline from Gurdaspur (Punjab) to Jammu through Pathankot, Kathua and Samba with minimum system capacity of 2 million standard cubic meters a day (mmscmd).
