IL&FS pays Rs 288.48 billion debt in 2022-23, maintains overall debt resolution target at Rs 610 billion

As per the latest affidavit filed before the National Company Law Appe­llate Tribunal, as of March 2023, IL&FS has successfully repaid a total debt of Rs 288.48 billion. The firm has resolved debts via monetisation and settlement of payments by its group entities from the concessioning authorities and relevant counterparty. Further, IL&FS has discharged Rs 49.58 billion as a result of the cancellation of non-fund-based limits utilised by its group entities and Rs 59.96 billion through interim distribution. The firm has retained the overall debt resolution target of Rs 610 billion.
