Serentica Renewables, a renewable energy platform enabling industrial decarbonisation, announced the successful placement of contracts worth Rs 100 billion for its planned renewable energy projects. This announcement provided a significant boost to the country’s renewable energy sector. The agreements made with top suppliers of renewable energy solutions would allow Serentica to build 1.5 GW of renewable energy capacity in the country.
NTPC commissions solar PV projects in Rajasthan and Gujarat
NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) has commissioned the last (fifth) part capacity of 50 MW of 300 MW Nokhra solar photovoltaic (PV) project at Bikaner, Rajasthan. The first part capacity of 100 MW, and other three-part capacities of 50 MW each have already been declared on commercial operation. In another development, NTPC Limited has commissioned the second part capacity of 10 MW of 20 MW Gandhar solar PV project at Gandhar, Gujarat. The first part capacity of 10 MW has already been declared on commercial operation. With this, the standalone installed and commercial capacity of NTPC group will become 72,364 MW.
