NSDT and Ganesh Benzoplast Limited signs agreement to handle liquid cargo at JNP

Nhava Sheva Distribution Terminal (NSDT) Private Limited and Ganesh Benzoplast Limited have signed an agreement to handle liquid commodities at the shallow water berth at the Jawaharlal Nehru Port (JNP). The agreement envisages the gradual built-up of liquid volumes of up to 2 million tonnes (mt) to be handled at the shallow water berth. Currently, JNP handles 6.3 mt of liquid cargo comprising liquefied petroleum gas, petroleum products, chemicals, edible oils, and acids. NSDT is a multipurpose clean cargo terminal, capable of handling containers, cement, general cargo, liquid vessels, break bulk, dry bulk etc. Ganesh Benzoplast Limited is one of India’s largest liquid storage facility providers with a total tankage capacity of 0.33 million kilolitres across three port-based terminals at JNP, Goa and Cochin.
