A concessionaire agreement was signed for the development of a multi-modal cargo hub facility at the Jewar International Airport in Noida on May 31, 2022. The agreement is signed between Air India SATS Airport Services Private Limited and Yamuna International Airport Private Limited. The cargo hub will be developed, designed, financed and operated by the Air India SATS Airport Services Private Limited in an area of around 87 acres. It will be strategically developed so that various modes of transportation could connect and would also serve just-in-time cargo facilities for the north India region. This development will ensure cost efficiency and better infrastructure for Indian logistics and air cargo on routes all around India and abroad.
