Advanced e-gate system facility installed at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport

An advanced e-gate system facility has been installed at the Thiruvananthapuram International Airport. It is an initiative to enable a seamless, paperless, and consistent service experience for passengers. The passengers can enter the security holding area after checking in by scanning their boarding passes at the e-gates. Overall, six e-gates have been installed at the pre-security hold area of both international and domestic terminals with the QR code scanners on them. This facility will lead to less congestion and a faster check-in process, especially during peak hours. The security of the airports will also get improved with the installation of this facility allowing increased accessibility for passengers.
