KMC plans to execute two sewerage projects in South Kolkata

Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) is planning to implement two sewerage projects in South Kolkata in West Bengal. The projects include the Bhanga Khal STP project involving the construction of a 35 mld STP and a sewage pumping station for wards 139, 140 and 141 at Bhanga Khal under Borough XV. The project entails an estimated investment of Rs 939 million. KMC also plans to set up a new STP for the treatment of dry weather flow in the surrounding area of Baghajatin. It entails an estimated investment of Rs 706 million. It will benefit the people in wards 101, 109 and 110.
