Construction on Sahibabad-Meerut stretch of Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS completed

The construction work on 42 km long Sahibabad-Meerut stretch of Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) Project has been completed. Besides, the 17 km stretch from Sahibabad to Duhai in Ghaziabad is likely to be operational by June 2023. The project involves development of 82.15 km RRTS connecting Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut corridor in the states of Delhi and Uttar Pradesh with an investment of Rs 302.74 billion.
