Around 25 per cent earthwork completed on Ganga Expressway

About 25 per cent earthwork has been completed on the Ganga Six-Lane Expressway Project. The entire project is likely to be completed by December 2024.
It involves construction of a 593.34 km long six lane access-controlled expressway (expandable to eight lanes) over the Ganga River from Meerut to Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh at an investment of over Rs 362 billion. It will connect Amroha, Bulandshahr, Badaun, Shahjahanpur, Farrukhabad, Hardoi, Kannauj, Unnao, Rae Bareli and Pratapgarh to Prayagraj and will have five major bridges, eight Rail over Bridges (RoBs) and 18 flyovers on public private partnership (PPP) mode.
