NGEL and HMEL to collaborate in renewable energy, green hydrogen and green chemicals

NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) and HPCL Mittal Energy Limited (HMEL) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to collaborate in the field of renewable energy through sourcing of 250 MW renewable energy round-the-clock power to meet the requirement of HMEL. Further, the MoU aims to explore opportunities in the green hydrogen business and its derivatives — green ammonia and green methanol.
