The Border Road Organization (BRO) has announced construction of Bundi-Garbiyang Tunnel Project on the Ghatiabagar-Lipulekh road in Uttarakhand. Currently, Altinok Consulting Engineering Inc. is conducting survey for the same.
The project involves construction of tunnel across Bundi-Garbiyang on the Ghatiabagar-Lipulekh road in Uttarakhand at a cost of Rs 20 billion to make the way to the last border post of the Lipulekh pass on the India-China border smoother. The commercial operations on the same is expected to commence by 2027-2028.
