ONGC Tripura Asset has recorded the highest ever annual gas production at 1,675 million standard cubic metres (mmscm) in the north-eastern state for 2022-23. Prior to this, the maximum amount of natural gas produced by ONGC in the state was 1,634 mmscm in 2020-21. ONGC Tripura Asset has registered a 3 per cent production growth in the past six years, despite the remoteness of its fields and the high decline rates.
