ONGC commissions gas collecting station in Bokaro CBM block

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) has commissioned a new gas collecting station (GCS) in its Bokaro coal-bed methane (CBM) block in Jharkhand. As the first gas collecting-cum-compression station in the Bo­karo CBM block, the oil major’s position as a bulk CBM producer will recei­ve a major boost. GCS-Bokaro is a major production installation in Patch-A of the Bokaro CBM block of the ONGC-Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) 80:20 joint venture (JV), wherein ONGC is the JV operator.
