Work on Z-Morh Tunnel to complete by December 2023
Construction work on the Z-Morh Tunnel Project is likely to be completed by December 2023. About 75 per cent of the work has been completed so far. The project involves the balance works for constructing the 6.5 km Z-Morh tunnel between Gagangeer and Sonmarg on the Srinagar-Leh section from 69 km to 81.3 km of NH-1D in Jammu & Kashmir. National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) is implementing the project on a design, build, finance, operate and transfer annuity basis.
