Air India Express launched its operations from Dabolim airport in Goa to Dubai on March 29, 2023. The carrier will operate flights from Goa to Dubai four days a week. This is currently the only airline to directly connect Dubai and Goa. AirAsia India, which is going to be merged with Air India Express, currently operates 13 daily direct flights to and from Goa, connecting five domestic cities. Additionally, Air India started operations of its non-stop flight from Amritsar to Gatwick airport, London, on March 27, 2023.
