The CERC has notified that the provisions pertaining to tertiary reserve ancillary services (TRAS) of the CERC (Ancillary Services) Regulations, 2022 will come into force from May 1, 2023. It includes provisions pertaining to TRAS under Regulation 6 and Regulations 20 to 22, as well as Regulations 14 to 19 and Regulations 26. With this, the detailed procedures issued under the CERC (Ancillary Services) Regulations, 2015 will cease to be in operation from May 1, 2023.
