IR has set a target to commission 100 Gati Shakti Cargo Terminals (GCTs) by 2024-25. Of these, 30 GCTs have been commissioned as of March 15, 2023. So far, 145 applications for the development of cargo terminals under the GCT policy have been received and 103 in-principle approvals issued.
