The Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) has granted safety clearance for the New Garia station-Ruby station stretch of the Kolkata Metro Expansion Project. The project involves the expansion of the existing metro rail network in Kolkata in the state of West Bengal by 88.55 km at an investment of Rs 119.29 billion.
