Work on the Kasheli creek bridge on Line 5 of the Mumbai metro Phase II (Kalyan-Bhiwandi-Thane) has been completed. Line 5 of the Mumbai metro project involves the development of a 24.9 km long metro rail system, entirely elevated, connecting Thane, Bhiwandi and Kalyan in Maharashtra.
