MoHUA receives an allocation of Rs 764.32 billion in 2023-24

The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) has received an allocation of Rs 764.32 billion in 2023-24. The allocation is 2.53 per cent higher than the revised estimate of Rs 745.46 billion for 2022-23. Of the total allocation, the outlay for the Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) is Rs 50 billion, around 150 per cent higher than the revised estimate of Rs 20 billion for 2022-23. Meanwhile, an allocation of Rs 80 billion each has been earmarked for the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) and the Smart Cities Mission.
