JV of TLL-Evrascon emerges as L1 bidder for EPC works for Singhpora-Vailoo tunnel project

The joint venture (JV) of Transrail Lighting Limited and OJSC Euro-Asian Construction Corporation (Evrascon) has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for EPC works for the Singhpora-Vailoo tunnel project (NH-244). The company has quoted an amount of Rs 23,870 million. Bids for the project were invited by National Highways and Infrastructure Develop­ment Cor­poration Limited in August 2022. The completion period for the project is 60 months. It involves the construction of a 38.61 kmlong (Tube 1: 10.33 km, Tube 2: 10.36 km) unidirectional tunnel connecting Singhpora to Vail­oo, along with approach roads from km 111.06 to km 149.67 (de­sign chainage km 140.87 to km 235.07), connecting Chhatroo to Vailoo, on NH-244 in Jammu & Kashmir.
