The Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow has received environmental clearance from the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) to enhance the passenger handling capacity by up to 39 million passengers per annum and the cargo handling capacity by up to 0.25 million tonnes per annum (mtpa). The airport will be undertaking airside development work from February 23, 2023 to July 11, 2023, and is also aiming to enhance the passenger experience with provision of quality services.
