The Border Roads Organisation is expected to commence work on the Shinku La Pass Tunnel project by July 2023. The project is expected to be completed by 2025. The project involves the construction of the world’s highest tunnel at Shinku La Pass, at an altitude of 16,580 feet, connecting Himachal Pradesh to Ladakh.
