Land acquisition for the Bhogapuram greenfield international airport project (Vizianagaram) has been completed, with the acquisition of 2,200 acres of land on the Srikakulam-Vizianagaram-Srikakulam stretch. The project involves the design, building, financing, construction, development, upgradation, modernisation, operation and maintenance of the airport under the public-private partnership (PPP) mode in the Vizianagaram district of Andhra Pradesh at an investment of Rs 42.09 billion.
